Big thanks to the team at CCC, who are running the Canoe and Kayak experience on the Chazessac. This is a great experience for families and kids, as the river isn’t as rough as the Ardeche, whilst being in the same region.

We really enjoyed the 10 km canoe trip down the Chassezac. CCC is a well run company with good equipment and friendly staff. We chose the comfort canoes, which have a small backside for support (which I would recommend).
A fantastic and pleasurable trip down the Chassezac for the whole family, with magnificent canyon cliffs, swimming and sun.

This was our first canoe experience as a family in the Ardeche. Well organised we were kitted up and in the water in no time. We chose a 10km option and had 5 hours in which to complete the distance. This gave us enough time to enjoy the fantastic scenery, swim, dive and picnic. An amazing day out with some easy but fun rapid sections to have a go at.
